1. Installing the Glass
(a) Install Setting Blocks
Place rubber or plastic setting blocks at the bottom of the frame.
These support the glass and prevent direct contact with the frame.
(b) Position the Glass
Carefully place the glass into the frame.
Ensure equal clearance on all sides to allow for expansion.
(c) Secure the Glass
Depending on the frame type:
2) Putty method (wooden frames):
- Apply glazing putty evenly.
- Press the glass gently into the putty.
- Fix glazing pins and apply a finishing putty layer.
